Bull riding involves a cowboy or rider attempting to hold onto a bucking bull for a minimum of eight seconds while the bull jumps and spins, in an effort to dislodge the rider from its back.The riders grasp onto a braided rope encircling the bulls chest. Must ensure that one hand remains raised in the air without making contact with either the bull or themselves throughout the ride; failing to do so results, in disqualification.

Riding this sport can be quite exhilarating yet comes with risks of danger too! Participants gear up with equipment such, as helmets and vests while occasionally donning face masks for added safety measures against injuries in case of a fall, from the bull.

Judges evaluate the performances by assessing the riders ability to maintain balance and the level of difficulty posed by the bulls movements during the ride competition The more challenging it is for the rider to stay on the bull amid its attempts to dismount them the better their score becomes. Both the rider and the bull receive points based on their performance, and achieving scores may result in winning rewards.
